Guðrún Gunnarsdóttir performs music by Scandinavian songwriters

Gljúfrasteinn's summer concert series continues with a performance by singer Guðrún Gunnarsdóttir, accompanied by pianist Gunnar Gunnarsson and contrabassist Þorgrímur Jónsson. 
The concert will take place on Sunday June 15 at 4 PM and the program features pieces by Scandinavian musicians such as Kari, Ola and Lars Bremnes, Cornelis Vreesjwiik and Erna Tauro, with Icelandic lyrics by poet Aðalsteinn Ásberg Sigurðsson. 

Guðrún Gunnarsdóttir has enjoyed a successful career as a singer and journalist for the past 40 years. In addition to six solo albums, her singing has been featured on several albums with diverse collaborators.

Tickets cost 3,900 ISK and can be purchased at the museum's reception on the concert day.
